Omega Shreds (A Models Body)
This 12 week program is designed to build a model like body, focusing on SPECIFIC muscle groups. The Rigid core is the goal, and it’s defined by body fat. With the way most males hold their body fat, it’s best seen through the eyes of the abs. Designed around human anatomy and key lifts, Omega Shreds will drop your body fat level to 8- 10% while simultaneously stimulating strength, and muscle density and building a powerful well-proportioned body, an Ideal Physique in just 12 weeks. NOT an overly BULKY body but a MODELS Body.
I consider the Rigid Core the first step to building a great body.
This is the conundrum of most soft, out of shape guys.
- Do I bulk and gain a bunch of fat while trying to build muscle?
- Do I cut and seemingly lose a bunch of muscle while trying to lose fat?
Now, there’s a good chance that if you bulk first, you’re going to put on more fat than muscle.
The answer is (2), but most people approach this wrong—you don’t need to wither into the wind. There is a key strategy to shred the fat while building strong, dense, muscular body.
It is much better to lose the fat first. Be in the moment as that happens, and then you understand how to lose fat for the rest of your life.
And the kicker here is that this “starting position” isn’t going to be a shrunken sad and pathetic point . . . as long as you stimulate correctly to get there.
Most Fitness advice will have you turning into a cardio bunny, doing cardio, and then finishing off with more cardio — muscle and strength work can wait for when the fat is gone.
A Models Body Program Outline
Stage 1-Maximum Muscle Density
Focus on low reps and heavy weights while shedding excess body fat. Heavy weights are going to increase your actual muscle fiber tissue (myofibrillar hypertrophy). This is going to create a hard and dense muscle.
Stage 2- Muscle Growth & Fullness
The goal of Stage 2 is to increase sarcoplasmic hypertrophy over the entire body. We will do this by concentrating on “cumulative fatigue”.
Stage 3-Reveal Maximum Definition
A mix of Myofibrillar hypertrophy and Sarcoplasmic hypertrophy. Concentrating on strength gains, while still keeping the rest periods brief enough for a bit of cumulative fatigue as well.
Stage 4-Photo Shoot Ready
Supplement/diet protocol laid out in detail for a DRY VASCULAR photo shoot ready event or Beach ready vacation. Imagine Paper thin skin , wrapped tightly around your abs and biceps for a 3D popping muscular look.
If you simply lift to put on muscle, then you are simply just wishing that your body ends up looking the way you want.
“Wishing” seldom works well when it comes to building a great body.
Focusing too much on “the pump” to build muscle results in that large “puffy” look, soft and rounded , with little angular definition.
Chasing too much max and heavy strength gains can cause undersized, smaller dense looking muscles.
Both types of muscle development have their importance if you want to create a sharp looking lean, dense, muscular look.
Someone who focuses on the proper ratio will achieve “The Ideal Physique” which displays full, dense looking muscles.
